New Here?

You won't have to figure it out alone.

Never been before? Here is exactly what happens on a Sunday morning — what to wear, where to park, what your kids will do, and what nobody will ask you to do.

Park & walk in

We are at 500 S Thornton Ave, right in downtown Dalton. Park in the church lot off Thornton Avenue and come in through the main doors — someone will be there to point you the right way.

Check in your kids

Our nursery takes babies from 8 weeks old. Kids 4 through 5th grade have Sweet Sound at 9:30 and Holy Moments at 11:00 — or they are welcome to stay with you. Both are normal here.

Find a seat, stay for coffee

Sit wherever you like — nobody owns a pew. Afterwards someone would love to meet you, but only if you want to be met.

181 Years in Dalton

We have been here a long time. We are not finished.

Since the 1840s this church has stood at the heart of Dalton, growing alongside the city and staying rooted in the unchanging love of Christ. Open hearts, open minds, open doors is not a slogan to us — it is how we intend to be found. Here is what we are asking God for over the next three years.

Our three-year vision

450
people each weekend, on campus
75
baptisms over three years
90
kids taught, loved and led each weekend
50%
of adults and students in a group, class or serving

We Are a Praying Church

Tell us what you're carrying.

Our prayer team meets every week to pray over requests submitted by people like you. You choose whether it stays with the prayer team or goes to the whole congregation.

“Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.”

Galatians 6:2

Can't make it in person?
